The principal aims of the programme are to:

Enable you to graduate with a BSc (Hons) in Health and Social Care, acquiring transferable academic skills and knowledge in the sector.
Provide a curriculum responsive to the evolving context of health and social care, preparing you for employment in the field.
Offer a supportive and stimulating learning experience, fostering academic skills and problem-solving approaches.
Facilitate career progression in the health and social care sector.
Provide progression routes to post-graduate and professional programmes.

For entry onto the OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management:

Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 5 diploma or equivalent overseas qualification recognized by UK NARIC.
Mature learners (over 21) with management experience (verify with the delivery centre before registering).
Minimum age of 18 at the start of the course.

All units are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM.
Achieve a ‘pass’ by fulfilling all learning outcomes and meeting specified assessment criteria.

Successful completion provides opportunities for academic progression to relevant OTHM Level 7 Diplomas.
