Aims of the Programme

The principal aims of the programme are to:

Entry Requirements

For entry onto the OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management:

  • Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 5 diploma or equivalent overseas qualification recognized by UK NARIC.
  • Mature learners (over 21) with management experience (verify with the delivery centre before registering).
  • Minimum age of 18 at the start of the course.

Assessment and Verification

  • All units are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM.
  • Achieve a ‘pass’ by fulfilling all learning outcomes and meeting specified assessment criteria.
  • The Assessor provides an audit trail of the judgment on learners’ overall achievement.

  • Successful completion provides opportunities for academic progression to relevant OTHM Level 7 Diplomas.
